HSBC UK confirms 95% mortgage guarantee scheme details

The product range includes mortgages fixed for two or five years, available to single or joint applicants, with the same rates whether taken out direct through our advisers or through a broker.

Product details:

  • 95% LTV 2 year fixed rate (£999 fee) – 3.99%
  • 95% LTV 2 year fixed rate feesaver – 4.29%
  • 95% LTV 5 year fixed rate (£999 fee) – 4.29%
  • 95% LTV 5 year fixed rate feesaver – 4.49%

The maximum loan size available through brokers is £500,000. For Direct customers it is currently £400,000, but will be increasing to £500,000 at a later date.

The requirements of the mortgage include:

  • This must be the only property that the mortgage applicant(s) own and will be their main residence;
  • The property is not a new build or part of a shared ownership or shared equity scheme.
